Vas3k is a global community of IT professionals spanning 99 countries. Occasionally, the community organizes offline events such as a camp in Serbia or a sailing regatta in Montenegro. For the latter, the organizers reached out to us for a memorable, high-quality, and practical merch collection.
The organizers already had some ideas for themed merchandise, including items like compasses, gloves, water-resistant t-shirts, and bucket hats. After a brainstorming session and market research across Europe and Asia, we settled on four key products:
- Waterproof dry bags
- Microfiber towels
- Bucket hats
- Compass bracelets
For all products, we designed them in line with the client’s brand identity. The designs were minimalistic to align with the branding and ensure the items were usable long after the event.
The towels and hats were produced in Poland, while the waterproof bags and bracelets were made in Hungary. We handled direct deliveries to Germany, keeping a tight schedule—timing is crucial when creating event merch, and we delivered on time!
Regatta participants were extremely pleased with their merch, particularly the waterproof dry bags. We chose a bold yellow color for this product, which turned out to be an excellent decision. It allowed users to easily spot their bag in low light, and it even doubled as a flotation device for phones or flashlights during the night.
